When I’d arrived here I was quite sure of myself
As the times passed through and the days got longer,
I learnt a few things - when you know its cold out there, you know what to wear
Cos that’s what your instincts told you in the night, something you’d never learned

And now when I am alone
Longer than I thought I’d known
Feeling the anger come and go like the wind and rain that pelt down
My insecurities are reigning, my fears just rising and all those bells ringing
And time to take a note
