Ahmad Rammal

Lead & Rhythm Guitars

Ahmad Rammal hails from Lebanon and currently lives in Romania after having moved from the UAE where he had joined Vin Sinners in 2021.

His life has always been intertwined with music. He first picked up the guitar at the age of 14, and from the very first chords, it became more than an instrument — it became his voice, his refuge, and a lifelong companion.

His earliest musical influences were rooted in classic rock, hard rock, and heavy metal — genres that captivated him with their raw energy, emotional depth, and powerful storytelling. Over time, Ahmad’s musical curiosity expanded beyond Western styles. He developed a deep appreciation for world music, particularly the traditional sounds of India, the Middle East, Turkey, the Balkans, and Spain. These rich cultural influences have found their way into his phrasing and melodic approach, creating a unique blend where Eastern textures meet Western song structures.

In addition to guitar-driven music, Ahmad has a strong passion for Latin music and dance. He finds a deep connection between rhythm and movement — both inherently expressive and instinctive forms of communication. This passion informs not just how he plays, but how he feels music at its core.

Throughout his journey, Ahmad has collaborated with a diverse range of bands, each adding new layers to his creative expression. His early musical explorations began with bands like Exceed and Butterfly, where he honed his stage presence and learned the dynamics of musical collaboration. Today, he is involved with a variety of projects across different genres:
    •    Vin Sinners – Hard Rock / Heavy Metal
    •    Aramaic – Oriental Death Metal
    •    Verdict – Death Metal
    •    Blackout – Hard Rock / Heavy Metal
    •    Calendar – A Romanian folk band he occasionally joins, offering an acoustic and culturally rich experience

Among these, Vin Sinners remains one of the most creatively fulfilling ventures for Ahmad. Working with the band’s founder and frontman, Vin Nair, has been a particularly inspiring collaboration. Despite not playing an instrument, Nair’s vision and storytelling instincts challenge and elevate the musicians around him. Ahmad expresses deep gratitude for the many talented musicians he has shared both stage and studio with — their passion, skill, and camaraderie have profoundly shaped his musical evolution.

Every project Ahmad has been a part of has taught him something — whether about musical discipline, cultural dialogue, group synergy, or the unspoken language that exists within music itself. Whether he’s writing riffs, arranging parts, or simply jamming, his guiding principle remains the same: to serve the music with integrity and spirit.

Music continues to be a constant force in his life. Whether performing live, recording in the studio, teaching aspiring guitarists, or exploring new sounds at home, Ahmad believes in the quiet yet powerful ability of music to connect people and articulate what words often cannot.

Ahmad’s sound evolves with the genre he’s working in — from heavy, aggressive tones for metal to delicate, melodic textures for folk and world music. He thrives on experimenting with gear that helps him articulate the character of each style while maintaining his personal sonic identity.
